It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Vaitkunas of Auburn, Massachusetts, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund J. Vaitkunas; her sister Dolores Yuknis Adamenas (Lazutka); and her parents, Michael C. Lazutka and Anna R. Lazutka (Palulis). She is survived by: her children, Richard Vaitkunas, Jo-Ann Rogers of Dudley, Trish Pratt (Tom) of Clermont, FL, Jack Vaitkunas (Pam) of Auburn, Caryn Warren (Dana) of Ocala, FL and Lynn Ruderman (Scott St); and her grandchildren, Andrew Vaitkunas, Peter Vaitkunas, Jennifer Joyce, Tom Pratt, Michael Vaitkunas, Dale Warren, Tyler Warren (Shauni), Joel Warren (Kristine), Amanda Martin (Steve), Allison Dones (Jonathan), Otto Ruderman and Jeffrey Ruderman. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; as well as three nephews.
