He was predeceased by: his parents, Kaleel Kinan and Rose Marie Kinan (Murray); and his siblings, Nancy Purland, Albert Kinan, Robert Kinan, Phillip Kinan and Joseph Kinan.

He is survived by: his siblings, Edmund Kinan of Plymouth, Norman Kinan of Brockton, Marlene Petrakis of New Hampshire, Douglas Kinan of West Roxbury and John "Jack" Kinan of Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in William's memory may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury, MA 02132 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
