As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Whittingham and Alice Whittingham (Bates); and his sister Mary C. Whittingham. He is survived by: his wife Josephine C. Whittingham (Reale); his sons, Thomas J. Whittingham (Pam Eddleston) of Attleboro and Michael A. Whittingham (Barbara) of Little River; his grandchildren, Matthew Whittingham of Attleboro, Mitchell Whittingham of Attleboro and Abigail Whittingham of North Attleboro; and also Alexander Whittingham of Walpole.
Visiting hours have been omitted and due to the limitation of three floral tributes allowed at the cemetery, Thomas's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108 .
