He was predeceased by: his mother Doreen M. Fortier. He is survived by: his grandparents, Gerald J. and Virginia A. Fortier; his uncles, William J. Fortier (Carolyn) of Cumberland, David M. Fortier (Kim) of Norton and Gary S. Fortier (Sarah) of Marietta, Georgia; and his cousins, Gregory, Alison, Ashley, Joshua, Madeline and Abigail Fortier. He is also survived by his family and friends.
His compassionate nature carried beyond those he knew when, in 2014, he successfully underwent the procedure to donate his bone marrow to a patient with leukemia through the Be A Match Foundation.
