It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Mae Viera of Attleboro, Massachusetts, born in Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Manuel "Manny" Joseph Viera and Robert Charles Barber; her parents, Edgar Francis and Nora Francis (Greeley); her son Robert Charles Barber; and her brothers, Allen Francis and Herbert Francis.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Allen Barber (Suzanne) and Gary Michael Viera (Diane); her grandchildren, Jennifer Barber (Steve Conover), Michele Burrell (Christopher), Derek Barber (Alyson) and Carl Viera (Kaitlyn); her sister Audrey Boucher (Francis) of Middleborough, Massachusetts; and her daughter-in-law Maryellen Barber of Jacksonville, Florida.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nellie's memory may be made to the North Attleboro Firefighters Kids Day Association.
