He was predeceased by: his spouse Constance M. "Connie" Tierney (Fenn). He is survived by: his grandfather John; his children, Karen Sierra of Boston, John Tierney of Attleboro, Kimberly Tierney of Las Vegas, NV and Tracey Arcieri of Randolph; and his sibling Robert Tierney. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Holbrook Animal Shelter, 1 Maple Ave., Holbrook, MA 02343.
