He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Joan A. Simkins (Messenger); his parents, John Simkins and Ruth Simkins (Holtschulte); his children, Jill A. Belanger (Donald) of Attleboro and Mark A. Simkins (Josephine) of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Breanna Belanger, Brandy Belanger and Liam Simkins; and his siblings, Ola Salley of Norton, Dale Simkins of California, Margaret Charette, David Simkins, Richard Simkins and James Simkins. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Jack's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, Virginia 22215.
