She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Grissmer and Emilie Grissmer (Rau). She is survived by: her husband Joseph P. Murphy; her son Joseph "Joe" H. Murphy of Attleboro, MA; her grandchildren, Beth McLean (Brendon), Michael Murphy (Alyssa) and Laurie Murphy; her great grandchildren, Bridget, Katharine, Julianna and James; and her brothers, Walter Rau (Ruth) of Germany and Heinrich Rau of Germany.
