With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd Harold Austin (Attleboro, Massachusetts), born in Palmyra, Maine, who passed away on April 15, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Austin and Dorothy Austin (Lawrence). He is survived by: his wife Jo-Anne Austin of Attleboro, MA; his daughters, Sharon McCarthy (Michael McCarthy) of Walpole, MA, Brenda Burger (Kevin Burger) of New Albany, OH and Lynne Lavini (Giancarlo Lavini) of Quinton, VA.; his grandchildren, Austin McCarthy, Hannah McCarthy, Brianna Lavini and Sebastian Lavini; his siblings, Errol Austin and Arlene McMann; and his sisters-in-law, Eileen Vanston, Christine Austin, Kathleen McGarry and Dusty.
While dementia had assaulted his mind, body and memories for years, it was COVID-19 that stole his final breaths.
