He was predeceased by: his parents, Melecio Ison and Salome Ison; and his siblings, Felicitas De Leon, Macaria Mueco, Jovencia Bernardo, Arturo Ison, Claro Ison and Elpidio Ison.
He is survived by: his wife Elisa Ison (Chan); his children, Anna, Daniel and Diane; his grandchildren, Brett, Patrick, Davis Chatfield of Attleboro, MA, Andrew, Isabel Ison of Cumberland, RI, Jasper and Annika Verplancke of Belgium; his sons-in-law, Stephen Chatfield of Attleboro, MA and Peter Verplancke of Belgium; and his siblings, Benedicto Ison (Edith) of Australia, Melecio Ison Jr. (Lydge) of Australia, Medardo Ison (Emma) of San Diego, California and Maria Salome Ison. He is also survived by 27 nephews and 22 nieces.
