With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Rae (Stuart) Bettencourt of Attleboro, Massachusetts, born in Franklin, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 17, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul "The Baitman" Bettencourt; her parents, Frederick Ivan Stuart and Patricia Loretta Stuart (Cray); and her sister Sandra Patricia Bagley. She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Doucette (Gregg Doucette) of North Providence and Paula Bettencourt (Amanda I. Bettencourt) of South Dennis, MA; her stepdaughter Desiree Anderson Myers (Sam Myers) of Cleveland, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Keyarra, Abigayle, Melina, Jocelyn, David, Bryan and Alex; her great grandchildren, David and Antonio; and her sister Robin C. Bertch of Chesterfield. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barbara's name may be made to either the Books are Wings program or to the Arbor Day Foundation.
