He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nicholson and Florence Nicholson (Morgan); his grandson Jeffrey Barnhardt; and his brother George. He is survived by: his children, Robert L. Nicholson, Jr. (Pia) of Sweden, Janice Nicholson of Foxborough, Jill (Michael Barnhardt) of Mansfield, Joan (Dan Cox) of Attleboro, Paul Nicholson (Paula) of Milford and Jean (Bruce Roberts, Jr.) of Foxborough; his grandchildren, Chris, Angela, Michelle, Frederik, Josephine, Jonny, Mikael, Kelsey, Christian, Tina, Aran, Kaylyn, Sara, Jesse, Cole, Brendan, Lauren and Corey; his great grandchildren, Connor, Zach, Jack, Drew, Calla, Areana, Norman, Jude, Kyle, Tucker, Erik, Declan and Sadie; and his sisters, Grace Nicholson and Louise Nicholson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
