He is survived by: his wife Doris Mae Legg (Goyette); his grandchildren, Dereck C. Lawes, Melissa L. Hunter (Lawes), Kaitlyn M. Moore, Jenna L. Rogers (Moore), Jeffrey T. Moore, Kathleen M. Thornton, Benjamin D. Legg-Forgiel and Peter C. Legg-Forgiel; his great grandchildren, Daniel Lawes, Abigail Lawes and Annelia Rogers; and his brothers, Norman Legg of Wiscasset and Ronald Legg of Zepherhills. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and dear friends.
