He was predeceased by: his parents, Tuffield Laford and Elizabeth Laford (Hebert); and his sister Reta Laford. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Laford (DeTour) of Holden; his children, William P. Laford (Donna) of Gardner, Robert F. Laford (Diona) of Petersham, Thomas P. Laford (Andrea) of Lunenburg and Linda Lee (Ernest) of Danielson, CT; his grandchildren, Andrew, Jeffrey, Joseph Lee, Erin Machado (Jon), Sara, Juliette Laford, Christie White (Kevin) and Kelly Mailloux (Allan); his great grandchildren, Ryan Lee, Kyle, Ryan White, Colby Mailloux and Lindsay Conner (Richard); his great great grandchildren, Brentley and Greyson Conner; his brother Richard J. Laford (Carmen); and his sister-in-law Pam Detour. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the parish appeal of either St. Peter's or Our Lady Immaculate parishes, 192 School St., Athol, MA 01331.
