She was predeceased by: her parents, Winthrop W. Safford and Emma Safford (White); her husband Dwight M. Allen; her son David Allen; and her siblings, Norman Safford, Arthur Safford and Anna Norton.
She is survived by: her son John Allen (Debbie) of Townsend, MA; her daughter-in-law Wendy Allen of Rochester, VT; her grandchildren, Kristen Gage (Jason) and Karen Murphy; and her great grandchildren, Lauren Allen, Sarah Kate, Patrick Murphy and Tyler Gage. She is also survived by her best friend since second grade: Margaret (Miggie) Cutter; and several nieces and nephews.
