She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward LaPorte and Catherine LaPorte (Whalen); her husband Carl N. Saven; her brother Edward LaPorte; and her friend Vic Litchfield.
She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Saven of Maynard, Wayne E. Saven (Maria) of Athol and Thomas C. Saven (Dixie); her sister Maryann Nurmi of Otter River; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas Saven, Merdith and Adrienne. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
