It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Mallette (Athol, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 12, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Landry and Exilia Landry (Landry); her son Roger Mallette; her grandson Christopher Mallette; and her sisters, Marianne Joly, Jeanine Emery and Eldora Lachance.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Mallette (Rosalie) of Athol, Richard Mallette (Katherine) of Athol, Raymond Mallette of Athol, Dennis Mallette (Rosemary) of Athol, David Mallette (Danelle) of Athol, James Mallette of Athol, Susan Mason (Michael) of Athol, Sharon Chavette (Lee) of Athol and Theresa Mann (Tom) of Athol; and her sisters, Julianne Marcotte of Orange and Mary "Alice" Taylor of Leominster. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to charity of one's choice.
