With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita J. Newton (Athol, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 24, 2018 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita J. Newton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent Juozapas Šeškas; her spouse Theodore Jr. (Ted); her daughter Margaret Christiansen (Peggy); and her grandson Lloyd Newton. She is survived by: her parent Amelia Šeškas (Makštelaitė); her children, Joseph Newton (Sharon) of Athol, Christine Wilson (Barry Meehan) of Orange and Daniel Newton (Christopher Flynn) of Boston; her son-in-law Michael Christiansen of New Ipswich, NH; her friends, Dick Burgess and May Burgess; and also Newton Jr.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
