He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Archibald and Frances Archibald (Grits); and his brother James Archibald. He is survived by: his wife Marie Archibald (Mallet) of Athol; his children, Marie Coburn (Brian) of Williamstown, Richard Archibald Jr. (Andrea) of Athol and Lisa Macomber; his grandchildren, Sara Wesley, Jenna Archibald, Larry Macomber Jr., Samantha Macomber and Stephanie Macomber; his stepgrandson Scott Coburn; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor Coburn and Adam Coburn; and his sister Beverly Milewski of Turners Falls. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
