With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel M Rushford (Athol, Massachusetts), born in Montgomery, Vermont, who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Urban E. Rushford; her son Rayburn E. Rushford; her siblings, Roland Lumbra, Leonard Lumbra, Marjorie Houle, Buelah Hache and Eleanor Ladue; and her parents, Charlie Lumbra and Mary Lumbra (Centerbar).

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Barbara Rushford; her grandchildren, Craig Rushford (Cheryl Azza) of Methuen, Raquel Gauvin (Stephen) of Athol and Laryssa Robideau (George "Kipper") of Rochdale; her great grandchildren, Maria Robideau, Boden Robideau and Sydney Gauvin; her sister Elaine Achambeault; her nieces, Nancy Magill of Orange and Ruth Quinland of Athol; and also Nancy Major of Orange.

Due to Covid regulations masks are required to be worn.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Athol Congregational Church, 1225 Chestnut Street, Athol, MA 01331.
