He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy F. Hastings and Gertrude Hastings (Johnson); and his siblings, Ralph Hastings and Judy Surface. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Hastings of Athol; his children, Marty Hastings (Karen) of Rowley and Kristin Arce (Nelson) of Orange; his grandchildren, Miguel Arce, Eric Arce and Martia Arce; and his sister Illene Brooks of Cape Cod. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces; and his beloved dogs.
