He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Laffond; his brother David Laffond; and his stepfather Richard Spooner. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy "Sandy" Laffond (Buzzell) of Orange; his wife Lisa Marie (Boudreau); his children, Dillon Laffond of New Salem, Daryl Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee and Joanie Proctor (Dillon) of Orange; his grandchildren, Xavier Santana of Orange, Savannah Santana of New Salem, Adalyn Proctor of Orange, Zoey Proctor of Orange and Jaylin Shepherd of Orange; his siblings, Kathy Griffith (Gary) of Athol, Anthony Laffond (Victoria Welcome) of Athol and Steven Laffond (Corina) of Corona, California; and his niece Angela Paul (Joseph). He is also survived by many other nephews and nieces.
