He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford L. Sawin Jr. and Shirley Sawin (Meuse); his sister Jean Johnson; and his stepson Frank Waterman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sawin (Smith) of South Athol; his children, Eunice Parsons (Dan) of Athol, Amy Boudreau (Tom) of Orange and Eric Sawin (Marcy Litchfield) of Athol; his grandchildren, Eric Sawin II of Orange, Calista Sawin of Orange, Joli Parsons of Chicopee and Sam Parsons of Athol; his great grandchild Nevaeh Rivera of Chicopee; his siblings, Janet Matthews of Athol and James "Butch" Sawin of Athol; and his stepchildren, Michael Waterman of Brattleboro, VT and Melissa Waterman of New York.
