He was predeceased by : his parents, George Vincent Lake and Phyllis Mae Lake (Winter). He is survived by : his children, Peter W. Lake (Melanie) of Melissa, TX and Karen K. Fake (Mark) of Mechanicsburg, PA; his grandchildren, James Lake, Charlece Ramsey (Wesley), Samuel Lake, Amber Troutman (Zach), Kyle Fake (Jason Nichols), Wyatt Fake and Kenna Fake; his great grandchild Robert Cash Ramsey; his brother Roy V. Lake; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Lake (Tammy), John Williams, James Williams (Aimee), Lynn Williams and Carin Stock (Doug). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mack Family Funeral Homes - Fiske Murphy & Mack Chapel (110 New Athol Rd, Orange, MA 01364). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Athol-Orange Baptist Church (131 Ridge Ave, Athol, MA 01331).
