It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert H. Gottschalk in Athol, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Shirley. He is survived by: his sister Margaret; his wife Caecilie; his children, Beverly Baumann (Joseph) of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and Herbert J. Gottschalk (Jeri) of Stockton, California; his siblings, Brigitte Nelson (Fred) of Lodi, CA, Bernhardt and Hans Werner; and his close friend Elsa Bates of Orange, MA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
