She was predeceased by: her children, William R. Thompson and Bonnie Lou Wheeler; and her brothers, Norman Bassett and James M. Bassett Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, James M. and Hazel M. Bassett (Newell); her husband Herbert Jewett of Athol; her daughters, Pamela A. Lamere of Athol and Rose Marie Karabelas of Lynn; her grandchildren, Spiros Karabelas of Athol, Mark Karabelas of Athol, Michael Lamere of Athol, Jedidiah Jewett of Athol, Joseph Thibeauit of Athol, Daniel Bowers of Athol, Mark Clark Jr. of Athol, David Price of Orange and Nina Marie Soares of Salem; and her great grandchildren, Kendra Karabelas of Lynn, Sofie Karabelas of Lynn, Alex Karabelas of Lynn and Noah Karabelas of Lynn. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
