He is survived by: his wife Diane Matthews (Piragis) of Athol; his daughters, Holly Matthews of Athol, Heidi Saviski of Athol and Sheila Matthews of Arizona; his stepdaughter Jill Piragis of Keene; his grandchildren, Ashley Saviski of Orange, Allen Matthews, Tyler Matthews of Athol, Thomas Reddy of Ohio, Austin Matthews of Athol, Nevaeh Matthews of Athol and Destiny Matthews of Athol; his great grandchild Alexander Matthews of Pepperrell; his granddaughter Cheyenne Adams of Athol; his brothers, Walter Matthews of Maine and Andrew Matthews of Florida; and also Tina Pace of Athol. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
