It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Lafountain of Athol, Massachusetts, born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor B. LaFountain and Henrietta LaFountain (Webster); his siblings, Victor LaFountain of Las Vegas, NV and Delphine Woodard; his sibling-in-law Derby; his sister Zena Root; his sibling-in-law Jerry of Las Vegas, NV; his sister Deborah Chapalonis; and his brother-in-law John of Athol.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda LaFountain (Reed); his children, Floyd LaFountain (Claudia) of Brandon, FL, Michael LaFountain (April Amidon) of Athol, Tammie Hamel (Jerry) of Athol and Lisa Champagne (Joseph) of Orange; his grandchildren, William LaFountain and Katelyn LaFountain; and his brother Alfred LaFountain of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray the cost of the funeral to Mack Family Funeral Homes.
