With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn King (Athol, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 10, 2019 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred H. Desrosier and Leona Desrosier (Hachey); her husband William R. King (Hans); her son Robert King; and her brother Norman Desrosier.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Kamerbeek of Meriden, CT, Michael J. King (Marie) of Athol, David W. King (Connie) of Athol, Roger F. King of Athol and Bruce J. King (Joanne) of Athol; her siblings, Rita Grimes of Athol and Francis Desrosier of Selbyville, DE; her grandchildren, Matthew King, Amanda King, Amy Aresco (Scott), Sarah King, Christoper Kamerbeek, Peter King, Henry King, Hannah Kraus (Dan), Jessica King and Kayla King; and her great grandchildren, Darlene Aresco, Zachary Aresco, Randall Aresco and Carter Colonero.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made in her memory to the Athol YMCA, 545 Main St., Athol, MA 01331.
