It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire A. (Guignard) Carey (Athol, Massachusetts), born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Dwyer and Margaret Guignard; and her siblings, Daniel and Brenda. She is survived by: her husband George "Buddy" Carey of Athol; her children, Daniel (Lisa) of Athol, Dennis (Norma Calvi) of Orange and Danielle Stringer (David Clarkson) of Worcester; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Julia, Bailey and Brandon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
