She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson L. Messier and Myra "Blanche" Messier (Holmes); her husband John T. O'Neil, Jr.; her brothers, Carl E. Messier and David A. Huntoon; her sister-in-law Lillian I. Messier; and her daughter-in-law Josephine M. Cerrato-O'Neil.

She is survived by: her children, Colleen L. Laperriere (Frederick) of Gardner and Shawn A. O'Neil of Athol; her grandchildren, Cara R. Laperriere of Athol, Lauren A. Laperriere of Gardner, Alyssa M. Imbo of Brooklyn, NY, Ashley M. O'Neil of Brooklyn, NY and Shannon M. Nappila of Church Hill, TN; her great grandchildren, Jaxson T. Laperriere, Joseph A. Imbo and Kelsey Nappila; her siblings, Marilyn B. Keresey of Winchendon, Lynette M. Plaxton (Gary) of Gold Beach, OR and Nelson E. "Bud" Messier (Karole) of Westminster; her niece Donna L. MacAdams of Athol; her sister-in-law Amanda M. Huntoon of Gold Beach, OR; and her friend Tanya L. Holden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
