She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Matthews and Della Matthews (Farrington); her husband Francis D. Hickey; her brother William Matthews; and her grandson Phillip Morse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Morse (Malcolm) of Cape Cod and Karen Sullivan of Athol; her grandchildren, Larissa Anderson, Amy Burnham, Jessica Pugliese, Frankie Hickey and Timothy Hickey; and her sister Bettidene Carlson of Athol. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made in her memory to the North Quabbin Regional Animal Shelter c/o Athol Police Department, 280 Exchange St., Athol, MA 01331.
