Ann (Thrower) Carley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann (Thrower) Carley of Athol, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer G. Thrower and Lottie Thrower (Newton); her husband LeRoy E. Carley; her siblings, Elizabeth M. Thrower, Spencer Thrower, Jr. and Harold Thrower; her stepdaughter Brenda Carley; and her niece Linda Jillson.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Kenneth E. Carley of Gardner and Rebecca Cowan of Rochester, NY; her sister Margaret L. Wikel of Athol; her nieces, Sandra White of Athol and Andrea Wikel Fiske of Orange; and her nephew Spencer Wikel. She is also survived by three step grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 there are no calling hours or church service. Those attending the graveside are asked to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations in Ann's memory be made to the Isadore Forbes Benevolent Fund, Eastern Star, 302 Walnut St., Newtonville, MA 02460.
