He was predeceased by: his parents, David Allen and Lillian Allen (Barrows); and his siblings, Joanne Gordon, Stephen Allen and Robert Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Bussiere (David) of Gardner and Adam Bussiere (Elizabeth) of Athol; his brothers, David H. "Benny" Allen, Jr. (Ruth) of Athol, Anthony Allen (Sylvia) of Pilot Mountain, NC and Craig Allen (Brenda) of Athol; and his grandchildren, Sophia and Mackenzie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Alan's memory be made to The North Quabbin Animal Control, 450 Thrower Road, Athol, MA 01331.
