He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ellis and Doris Ellis (Riley); his son Michael R. Ellis, Jr.; and his brother Robert Ellis. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica Ward), Jenny (Georges Alkhoury), Christopher, Lily Cook, Kaylah Conner, Amber Biasucci, Louis, Sophia Ellis, Krystal Libby, Kaitlyn, Kristin, Michael Ellis, Harrison and Cameron Fitzpatrick; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Teddy and Stella Ward; his children, Lori Ann Cook (James) of Assonet, MA, Jeannemarie Lawton (Robert) of Brockton, MA, Marybeth Fitzpatrick (Harry) of Easton, MA., Brian R. Ellis (Catherine) of Lynnfield, MA and James J. Ellis (Alison Westerlund) of Fall River, MA.; and his siblings, Patricia Lennon (Ellis) of Canton, MA, Anne Marie Jacobs (Ellis) of Cuyahoga Falls and Louis Ellis of Assonet, MA.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
