He is survived by: his stepdaughter Karen O'Brien (Michael) of Holliston; his siblings, Peter Gianopoulos (Carol) of Andover, George Gianopoulos of Belmont and Jean Jesensky (John) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Mannis O'Brien (Mary), Kayla and Liam O'Brien. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.

William worked as a Senior Principal Cyber Engineer at Raytheon, where he was respected for his expertise, dedication, and contributions to the field of cybersecurity.
