Rosemary Florence left this world on September 22, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Awad and Rose Awad (Kadra); and her siblings, Al Awad, George Awad, Phil Awad, Ernest Awad, Jamie Awad, Bobby Awad and Tina Morse (Awad).
She is survived by: her children, Terry Miller (Ron) of Peacham, VT, Paul Flaherty (Donna) of Upton, MA, Kathi Daley (Steve) of Milford, MA, Michael Flaherty of Sandwich, MA, Mary Jo Leahy (Jim) of Tolland, CT, Richard Flaherty (Wendy) of West Groton, MA and Rosemary Flaherty of Ashland, MA.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia's Church (54 Esty St, Ashland, MA 01721). A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at the Kadra Family Cemetery.
