He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Swanson and Dorothy Swanson (Mellett). He is survived by: his son Ira Bronson of New York, NY; and his siblings, Elizabeth Berger of Englewood, FL and Paul Swanson (Catherine) of Norwood, MA. He is also survived by one niece and five nephews.
