Nelda K. Casavant Obituary
Nelda Kay (King) Casavant, 75, of Ashland, MA, beloved wife of Paul Casavant and loving mother of Steven, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones on the morning of January 25th.
Born in Pittsburg, TX, she was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde & Thelma (Graham) King, of Pittsburg, TX and her sister, Carolyn (King) Wolter.
Nelda retired from US Army Soldiers Systems Command after 20+ years of committed service. She also proudly served our country in the US Army, from 1974-1976. She absolutely loved our country.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Paul, her son, Steven, her nephew, Robert (Stacey) Potter & his family, of Kansas, her niece, Karen (Glenn) Sturges, and her family, of Colorado, her brother-in-law, Donny Wigglesworth (Marla) & family, of Dudley, her dear friend, Cecile Mitchell, of Holliston, and the many other lives she has touched.
She will always be remembered for being a doting mom, her kindness, sense of humor & her love of animals.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Breast Cancer Society or your local Animal Shelter. Thank you to all of the Doctors, Nurses, and many others that helped take care of her.
Private graveside services will be held at Dell Park in Natick in the Spring.
