He was predeceased by: his parents, Otakar Stastny and Bozena Stastny. He is survived by: his daughters, Blanka and Sunny; and his grandson Alexandros. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Throughout his professional life, Dr. Stastny found immense satisfaction in his work and contributions to science.
