He is survived by: his wife Gail-Ann Lowney (Mancini) of Ashland; his children, Jennifer Cortez (Hector) of Charlton, Frederick Lowney (Carie) of Ashland, Michael Lowney Jr. of Plainville and Cathy Lowney of Ashland; his grandchildren, Raianna Diaz, Alessandro, Nathaniel, Dominic Cortez, Skye Bradford, Abby Lowney, Kaitlyn Keefe, Owen and Lilian Lowney; his great grandchild Greyson Diaz; his siblings, Karin McCready (late Kevin) of Fresno, CA, Kathy Aftosmes (Kevin) of Mashpee and Robert Lowney (Patricia) of Sandwich; and his siblings-in-law, James Mancini (Joan) of Ashland, Louis Mancini (Geraldine) of Ashland and Karin McNally (Stephen) of Medway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home (325 Main St, Ashland, MA 01721). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia's Parish (54 Esty St, Ashland, MA 01721). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Wildwood Cemetery.
