He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Vannasse and Anne Vannasse; his close friend Kathleen Rice; his sister Judith Akerman of Boston; his nephew Scott Akerman (Kathryn); his nephew Bradford Akerman of Salem, MA.; his cousin Bill Barnes (Meredith) of Dennis, MA; and also Astrid of Cape Elizabeth, ME.
