He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Szlachtun and Anna Szlachtun (Chomicz); and his wife Eleanor Szlachtun (Bienkowski). He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Saari (Eric) of Framingham, Linda Szlachtun (Patricia Stahley) of Millsboro, DE, Sandra Bachman (Robert) of Lewis Center, OH and Stefanie Jones (Ken) of Northville, MI; his grandchildren, Matthew Saari (Megan), AJ Saari, Jennifer Bachman, Rachael Bachman, Nicholas Bachman, Michael Roland, John Roland and Julia Roland; his great grandchildren, Keira Saari and Paige Saari; and his sisters-in-law, Maxine Bienkowski and Lena Bienkowski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
