She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Minkkinen and Ida Minkkinen. She is survived by: her husband Jouko Vileen; her children, Brian Vileen (Nella) and Taina McArthur (Daniel); and her granddaughters, Kelli Philippi (Laurent) and Hailey McArthur.
Where she volunteered for over 40 years giving her time to JFK Hospital, Finlandia Foundation Florida Chapter, The Finnish War Veterans, The Finnish American Rest Home (as a board member), The Finland House, and the Finnish Church.
