He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ovila Plouffe and Elizabeth Plouffe (Bassett); his children, Ovila Plouffe Jr (Kerri Plouffe), Robert Settergren (Leanh Settergren) and Christina Lajoie; his sister Beverly Merrill; his cousin Russell Rochon; his grandsons, Jackson Gallese, Ricky Lajoie and Rowen Settergren; his significant other Pamela Settergren; his pet Rocky; and his daughter Melanie Plouffe.
