She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hemlin and Elma Hemlin (Luoma); her husband Robert G. Lahtinen; and her sister Edith S. DiTomasso (Suokko). She is survived by: her children, Susan J. Lahtinen-Phelps (Clayton) of Winchendon and Karl J. Lahtinen (Debra) of Wilder, TN; her grandchildren, Andrew R. Rahaim of Rice Lake, WI and Audrey M. Arnold (Chris Duran) of Bailey, CO; her sister Katherine Starzmann (George) of Falling Waters, WV; her nephew Glenn DiTomasso (Linda) of Spencer, MA.; and her friends, Arnold and Leeannette Suokko of New Ipswich, NH..
