He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Dora Marchant (Lawson); and his brothers, Robert and James Marchant. He is survived by: his wife Janice Byrne Marchant; his sisters, Janet Murray and Shirley Howard; his parents-in-law, Wallace Howard, David, Leo Byrne and Joyce Chapmen; his granddaughter Renee Grzankowski (family: Scott); and his children, Charlie, William, Ella, Colette Canney, Caden, Rylen, Richard Marchant (Nate) and Robert Marchant (family: Carrie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held when the weather is warmer and it is COVID safe to gather.
