He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Briand and Charlotte (Curtin); and his brother Robert Briand. He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Briand of Arlington and Connie Person (Joseph Douglas Person) of Melrose; and his nieces and nephews, Susan Demetri (James) and Reading.
