He was predeceased by: his sibling Susan Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Rutledge); his sons, Timothy (Jane) of Norwood and Brendan (Kristine) of Somerville; his grandchildren, Caroline and Desmond; and his siblings, Stephen Doherty (Nancy) of Plymouth and Richard Murphy of Raynham.
