She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio J. Prates; and her brother Antonio. She is survived by: her children, Lucilia Prates-Ramos, Esmeralda Prates Devlin (James) and Joseph Prates (Marlene); her grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Taylor and Sarah; and her siblings, José, Manuel, Ilidio Cunha, Daniel, Francisco Cunha and Adriana Viveiros. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
